There’s also a buffet if you are looking for more options. I dined there for breakfast on my last day and enjoyed the avocado toast. This more casual restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You’ll also want to try the mushrooms and mac and cheese as sides because they are delicious! Bourbon Steak is located right off the lobby. But you’ll enjoy it when you are in the room.ĭo you travel with your pets? The JW Marriott Turnberry is a pet-friendly resort, with an additional fee. There’s so much going on at the resort, so you likely won’t spend too much time in your room. It was bright and modern, and the room was extremely comfortable. A nightly resort fee includes a shuttle to the nearby beach and Aventura Mall, as well as access to the new Tidal Cove waterpark. ![]() Turndown service is offered at the resort. I hadn’t seen this system before, but I really loved it. That way, you have time to get into bed before it’s completely dark. There’s a convenient lighting system where the lights go off slowly when you turn them off. ![]() Rooms include lots of fabulous luxury amenities, including complimentary WiFi, a desk, plenty of outlets for your devices, comfortable beds, large marble bathrooms, a minibar, and Keurig coffee makers. When you are banned from bringing in any of your own food or beverages, that is pretty outrageous pricing. $15 for a tube of Pringles and a packet of chips. The staff appeared mostly disinterested and certainly not prepared to enforce park rules meaning poor behaviour is ignored. This is compounded by the queuing system means that lines for all slides are squeezed into one staircase. The slides we managed to get on were good fun but very short experiences - longest ride available is 30 seconds. ![]() Doesn't help that such a place tends to attract some very spoilt brats and their entitled parents who don't seem to understand the concept of a line. ![]() When the slides opened, line times were around 5 minutes at most. We arrived as the gates opened at 9am and used the pool whilst we waited for the slides to open at 10am. Certainly steep but you'll get value for that ticket price? Wrong. Where to begin? Well the ticket price is a good start - $75 per person and that's on one of the quieter days. It is one average-sized hotel pool, one kids area, a collection of 5 slides and the shortest lazy river I've ever seen. To call this place a water park is somewhat disingenuous.
